One-Way Leasing
A one-way container lease lets you pick up a cargo-worthy box at the origin depot, ship it laden on your lane and drop it at a nominated depot at destination. There is no empty return and no repositioning tariff.

The lease is priced per diem against the lane, and every box is released at cargo-worthy grade. Empty return charges are excluded because the box stays where it lands, which is where we or the owner want it. Where an empty container surplus has built at a destination, those depots release boxes for the return lane at lower daily rates.
Who it is for
- Forwarders and NVOCCs with recurring cargo on lanes where carrier equipment is tight.
- Shippers moving shipper-owned containers on a specific route.
- Owners with surplus at destination who want boxes back where demand is.
How a one-way container lease works
Release at origin
Cargo-worthy box picked up at the origin depot. Shanghai, Singapore and Jebel Ali are named release points.
Laden leg on your lane
Loaded with your cargo on the active lane. The per-diem clock runs from pick-up.
Drop-off at destination
Empty returned to the nominated depot. Rotterdam, Hamburg and Singapore are named drop-off points. No empty return leg.

How we execute one-way leasing
01
Understand the requirement
Origin, destination, size, quantity per month and the date of first pick-up.
02
Assess the market
Which depots have release stock at origin, which depots accept drop-off at destination, and the per-diem rate for that pairing.
03
Execute
Lease agreement, release order, equipment interchange receipt at pick-up, and the drop-off depot instructions for your agent at destination.
04
Ongoing support
Monthly volumes are tracked against release stock so the lane stays supplied.
What you provide

What happens after the enquiry
A director replies with the release depot, the drop-off depot, the per-diem rate and the free days for that lane, then issues the lease agreement and release order.
Questions buyers ask
Which lanes are available?
China to Europe, China to South-East Asia, the Middle East to North America and South-East Asia to the Middle East are worked regularly. Other lanes are quoted on request against depot stock.
How long is the tenor and how many free days?
Tenor and free days are set per lane against the typical transit. The reply to your enquiry states both.
Where can the boxes be dropped?
At the depots named in the lease for that destination. Rotterdam, Hamburg and Singapore are named on the current lanes; others are added as stock moves.
Are there pick-up charges?
Depot lift charges at origin follow the depot tariff and are stated in the quote.
What about damage on return?
The interchange receipt at pick-up and drop-off records the condition. Repair responsibility and any damage protection plan are set out in the lease.
What documents are involved?
Lease agreement, release order for the origin depot, equipment interchange receipts at pick-up and drop-off, and the invoice.
