40′ dry container
40ft container dimensions and payload: twice the length of a 20ft at the same door height, for volume cargo.

The 40′ dry container carries volume rather than weight: its payload is close to a 20′ but its capacity is double. It is the standard unit for consumer goods and light industrial cargo; for more capacity on the same footprint see the 40ft high cube.
On land it makes a long store or a two-room site office, delivered through equipment sourcing; in container trading it moves in lots alongside the 20′. Sites need a longer clear run for the crane trailer to place it.
Typical uses
- Volume general cargo
- Warehousing and long stores
- Two-room site offices
Grades supplied
