Open top container
Open top container specifications: a dry box without a fixed roof, loaded by crane and closed with a tarpaulin over removable bows.

An open top has the footprint of a dry container with removable roof bows and a tarpaulin instead of a steel roof. Cargo is loaded from above by crane, and the door header swings out so overheight pieces can also come in through the doors. For loads wider than the box see the flat rack.
The 20′ figures below are the reference; 40′ units share the 40′ dry footprint with a 65.0 m³ capacity under the bows.
Typical uses
- Overheight machinery
- Steel sheet and coil
- Project cargo loaded by crane
Grades supplied
